Unearth The Ouroboros

An all-new bike platform from the unbound minds at Kona. They bring you three builds – each made for taking on rowdy rides to the ends of the earth... and back.

Whether you’re a gravel-loving mountain biker or a mountain-loving gravel biker, the Ouroboros brings it all together with a perfect blend of shred-worthy performance and classic drop bar heritage.

While other gravel bikes may tolerate mountain bike components, the Ouroboros is designed around them. Think 180mm rotors, 29×2.1" tire clearance and front suspension. These all give you a ride feel that is otherworldly, almost verging into the world of modern trail bikes.

Designed to carry you over pretty much any terrain, even explore the edges of singletrack. A very capable bikepacker for longer, delightfully chaotic, multi-day trips with 6 mount points on the frame alone.

Slack with snap

A 69.5º headtube angle is slacker than gravel but steeper than modern trail bikes. It maintains enough weight on the front to keep things snappy, but relaxed enough to save you kissing the front tire when things get choppy.

More clearance

In the never-ending quest for wider tires, the Ouroboros blows the doors off your typical rubber restrictions. It runs a beefy 29×2.1" all round, or go huge up front with the rigid fork fitting 2.5".

Pack it all

The front triangle, these boss mounts allow for limitless custom frame bag options devoid of straps.

Oversized seatpost

Kona know the longevity of your dropper is crucial when you’re deep in the backcountry. Only a 31.6mm seatpost allows riders to choose what keeps them from going for the long haul.
