The Garmin Varia RCT715 is a comprehensive safety system that combines intelligent radar detection, high-definition video recording, and a powerful tail light into one compact device.
The RCT715's advanced radar continuously monitors traffic up to 140 meters behind you, delivering visual and audible alerts to your compatible Garmin device. All the while, the integrated 1080p camera records everything happening in your blind spot at 30fps. If an incident occurs, the camera's intelligent detection system automatically captures and saves footage from before, during, and after the event – giving you irrefutable documentation.
Control and manage the system through the Varia smartphone app or directly from your Edge® bike computers and compatible Garmin wearables. Review footage, customize camera settings, transfer videos, and add data overlays that display approaching vehicle speeds.
The system also integrates with popular cycling apps, overlaying your maps with real-time radar alerts for enhanced awareness. The vertical design mounts cleanly on your seatpost without compromising leg clearance. With flexible power settings and up to 6 hours of battery life, it keeps you protected on extended rides.
