Kuat Piston Pro Rack

The Piston Pro rack for your car features all-metal construction, OneTap pneumatic tire arms that make no contact with the bike frame, and tool-free wheel chock slides. In the 2-bike configuration, the Piston Pro is Electric bike capable and ready for adventure. 

The Piston Pro features some of the same great features as the Piston Pro X minus the integrated LED taillights and the Kashima-coated piston arms. 

This all-metal rack can safely transport bikes and electric bikes weighing up to 67 lbs (30 kg) per tray on your car/truck. On a your RV, with a chassis-mounted hitch that number is 42 lbs (19 kg) per tray. 

With just one tap, the pneumatic arms open wide and grab your bike tire perfectly, creating no contact with the frame. Whether you’re rolling on smallish wheels or beefy tires, you won’t need any adapters or tools to make them fit. Just squeeze and slide the adjustable wheel chocks to hold 18–29" tires. Additionally, the Piston Pro will hold bikes with wheelbases up to 53" (134 cm) and tires as wide as 5". 

And, when it comes to security, Kuat didn’t cut any costs. A lock adds an additional level of security at the hitch, while the semi-integrated 12mm cable locks help keep your bikes secure.
