Park Tool 13-Speed Chain Wear Indicator (CC-4.2)

Regularly checking and replacing your chain will help keep your bike running smoothly and extend the life of your drivetrain. The laser-cut Park Tool CC-4.2 accurately measures a long section of chain, telling you whether it is 0.5%, 0.75% or 100% worn, letting you determining when a chain replacement is needed. 

This updated model is designed to work on chains of any speed up to 13-speeds (including SRAM® T-Type, SRAM® Flattop™, Shimano® XTR® 12-speed, and Campagnolo® Ekar™ 13-speed chains). 

General replacement guidelines:

• Single speed chains: replace chain or just before 100% 
• Up to 10-speed chains: replace at or just before 0.75%
• 11 and 12-speed chains: replace at or just before 0.5%
