The Shimano GE5 is a trail-ready SPD-compatible bike shoe built for comfortable performance on rugged terrain. Its standout Torbal 2.0 midsole allows the heel to move torsionally, maintaining full range of motion for improved comfort, fluidity, and on-bike control. The upper is tighter at the ball of the foot for pedalling efficiency, while extra volume at the toe box and heel improves walking comfort and shock absorption. A lace closure and instep strap deliver a secure, customisable fit for superior foot hold and efficient power transfer on trails. 

The Ultread GE outsole is optimised for enhanced grip on slippery hike-a-bike sections, with a moulded pedal channel and extended SPD landing strip for smooth, stable pedal engagement – clipped in or not. An asymmetrically raised ankle collar protects against scuffs and scrapes while perforations in the durable canvas upper keep your feet cool. With a 5.0 stiffness level and half-length EVA cushioning, the GE5 strikes the right balance between walkability and pedalling efficiency – a capable, comfortable choice for long days on the trail.
