Specialized suggests sizes but we'd always recommend test-riding the bike as everyone has different proportions and preferences. We'd say it's especially important if you straddle two sizes.

If you feel little difference between sizes, opting for the smaller generally offers more adaptability down the line. Bikes can quite easily be made to feel bigger, but when trying to shrink a bike that feels too big, your options are more limited.

Four decades after the first Specialized Allez hit the road, the new Allez is the best yet. Lightest in its class, it delivers unmatched confidence, versatility, and performance for riders of all levels. Whether you're commuting, embarking on weekend rides, or just starting your cycling journey, the Allez sets the standard for performance road bikes.

Lightweight and Responsive

Starting with premium butted and double-butted E5 alloy, the Allez frame weighs just 1,375g for a quick, nimble road experience. A full carbon fork further reduces weight and smooths out rough surfaces, ensuring comfort without sacrificing performance. Thoughtfully selected components enhance the bike's reputation as the lightest in its class.

Incredible Confidence

The Allez’s endurance geometry – inspired by the legendary Roubaix – delivers a perfect balance of comfort and control. Combined with the stiffness-to-weight ratio of its E5 alloy frame and the reliable stopping power of dual-piston disc brakes, it ensures confidence on descents and stable handling on winding roads.

Versatility and Performance

Whether commuting or chasing KOMs, the Allez adapts with rack and fender mounts and tire clearance up to 35 mm (32 mm with fenders). A wide gearing range and 30 mm tires provide efficiency on climbs and smoothness on rough roads. Ready for any road, it’s a bike that blends performance with practicality.
